The Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen, APC provides clients with an experienced, knowledgeable and empathetic team dedicated to guiding clients through their family law matter. We understand that family law matters are often wrought with unknowns and it is imperative to communicate with our clients and we understand the importance of the simple act of listening.
Jacquelynn L. Hansen, Esq. founded the Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen, APC in 2015, nearly ten years after she first began her work in family law as a student. Jacq is a native of Los Angeles, California. In 2005, Jacq graduated from The George Washington University, where she received a B.A. in Political Science and minored in History. She attended American University Washington College of Law for her first year of law school and devoted her time to American University’s Civil Advocacy Clinic assisting Washington D.C. Metropolitan low-income Residents with various legal matters including family law issues. Jacq received her Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern Law School, where she focused on Family Law and Entertainment Law, working both at a production company and a family law firm during law school.
Jeffrey F. Aisen, Esq. joined the Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen as an associate attorney in 2020. Jeff is originally from Chicago, Illinois. In 2012 Jeff graduated from Macalester College, where he received a B.A. double-majoring in Philosophy and Economics. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where he received awards and accolades for his performance in the Wiley Rutledge Moot Court Competition. Prior to attending law school, Jeff worked in management consulting. Before his admission to the Bar, Jeff clerked at the Federal Public Defender’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri, where he assisted counsel in federal sentencing appeals, and the representation of indigent clients facing federal charges. He has also externed for the Honorable Judge Kerry Bensinger of the Los Angeles Superior Court. Jeff has exclusively practiced Family Law since being admitted to the California Bar in 2017.
Joseph A. Gordon, Esq. joined the Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen as an associate attorney in 2024. Joe was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and in 2011 graduated from California State Dominguez Hills where he earned a B.A. in Conflict Resolution, Negotiation and Peacebuilding. Prior to starting law school, Joe graduated from the Orange County Sheriff’s Academy and served as a police officer for the Santa Monica Police Department. In 2016, Joe received his Juris Doctorate from Southwestern Law School, where he graduated from Southwestern’s two-year SCALE program. While in law school Joe was invited to compete as an advocate on Southwestern’s nationally recognized Tral Advocacy Honors Program. In 2015 he served as an extern with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office in the target crimes division. In 2016, Joe served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Beverly Reid O’Connell of the United States District Court. Prior to transitioning to practicing Family Law, Joe spent seven years as a civil litigator representing major municipalities, police departments, and national corporate entities where he successfully took cases to trial on both the state and federal level. He has experience with handling and working to defuse high pressure situations which he handles with professionalism and care.
Robin Rouse joined the Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen as a paralegal in 2020. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Robin, a certified paralegal, brings a wealth of knowledge and experience which comes from working as a paralegal for some of the most prestigious family law firms in the nation. Robin is an invaluable asset to the team, serving as Jacq’s right hand for countless trials. Robin is often the first person at the firm a new client encounters when coming to the firm, and her knowledge, compassion and empathy allow her to help guide clients through difficult experiences.
Kameron Theus joined the Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen as a certified paralegal in 2023. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Kameron started working in family law in high school where he worked as a file clerk for a family law firm. Kameron moved to Dutchess County, New York where he worked as an EMT for four years. After four years as an EMT, Kameron enrolled in the American Bar Association certified State University New York Rockland where he graduated in 2021 with a major in Paralegal Studies. After completing his studies in New York, Kameron moved back to his hometown to again work in family law. Kameron’s experience as an EMT and growing up in the family law community have helped shape him into a tremendous asset for the firm.
Tim Robinson joined the Law Office of Jacquelynn L. Hansen in 2023. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Tim left California for the University of Connecticut where he graduated on the Dean’s List in 2020 with a B.A. in Cognitive Science. While working towards his undergraduate degree, Tim worked for a family law firm in San Jose, California. It was there where he found a passion for family law. Tim then moved to Los Angeles, where he attended the UCLA School of Law. While in law school, Tim participated in UCLA’s immigration clinic assisting immigrant families in applying for asylum and SIJS for their children. He also interned at the prestigious Levitt & Quinn Family Law Center, where he worked one on one with low-income clients assisting them with their custody and dissolution matters. Finally, Tim served as a board member for UCLA’s Asia Law Organization which had a specific focus on educating students and providing access to unique opportunities relating to legal issues in Asia. Tim earned his Juris Doctorate from UCLA in 2024. Tim is a vital part of the team and uses his background and training to serve as a staunch advocate for our clients.
